Hyundai loaders fall into two families, those of wheel loaders and skid steer loaders. Hyundai recognises that productivity and uptime are vital characteristics of successful loaders and have designed their wheeled and skid steer loaders to offer exactly that. The machines are suited to a wide range of tasks and offer everything from the most powerful quarry machines to agile and compact models.
The Hyundai wheel loader family extends to nine models, ranging in size from the 10 tonne HL730-9A to the 30 tonne HL780-9A. These are ideal machines when moving loads is just as important as digging power. Wheeled loaders are also able to move between job sites on public roads, without the added expense and inconvenience of loading them on to a trailer or low loader.

The entry level HL730-9A comes with a comfortable enclosed cab and a 130hp Cummins engine. It weighs in at 10.5 tonnes and has a bucket capacity of 2.4 cubic metres. It has a powerful digging force of 89.8 kN and a dumping height of 2700mm. Next in the range is the 12.7 tonne HL740-9A. This has a bucket capacity of 2.8 cubic metres and a digging force of 110 kN. Dumping height is 2785mm. The HL757-9A is 14.7 tonnes in weight and has a digging force of 123 kN. Bucket capacity is 3.2 cubic metres and the dump height is 3230mm. The HL955 tips the scales at 15.1 tonnes and also has a dump height of 3230mm. The bucket capacity remains at 3.2 cubic metres but digging force is slightly greater at 127.5 kN.
With the HL760-9A, you can change engine power and transmission settings on the move to handle bigger jobs. Operating weight is 18.3 tonnes and dumping height is 2970mm. It has a powerful 222hp engine and a big bucket of 4.1 cubic metres capacity. The HL960, meanwhile, matches this bucket capacity but extends dumping height to 3365mm. Power is tweaked slightly to 225hp and the digging force is 163 kN. The HL760-9A is a dedicated waste handler weighing 19.5 tonnes and with a dumping height of 2805mm. The HL770-9A adds even more weight at 23.5 tonnes and increases power to 300hp. The bucket capacity is 5 cubic metres and dumping height is 3090mm. Top of the range is the HL780-9A wheeled loader, weighing 30.3 tonnes and offering a bucket capacity of 6.8 cubic metres. The engine is rated at 355hp.
The range of Hyundai skid steer loaders is rather more limited, with just two models. Both have open platform operating stations with tough ROPS protection and steel meshing to the sides and rear to give added protection. The Hyundai HSL650-7A skid steer loader has an operating weight of 2.7 tonnes and a bucket capacity of 0.31 cubic metres. The engine is rated at 48hp. The HSL850-7A, meanwhile, weighs 3.3 tonnes, has a 75hp engine and a bucket capacity of 0.37 cubic metres. Both of these machines are designed to be small but tough, packing lots of power into a compact footprint. They are incredibly durable and offer easy servicing and low maintenance cost over a long service life.
