The New Z-bar loader linkage offers the benefits of better visibility of the attachments and improved parallel lifting capabilities together with the fork attachment. The Hitachi ZW Series is also ideal for ground finishing tasks when working with the bucket. There is a twin-cylinder steering system, and the limited-slip differential means that the ZW can keep going when the going gets tough.

Hitachi's approach to easy maintenance means that the engine cover opens easily and fully, allowing better access for service components. There is also easy access to the radiator and fuel filter, while the large fuel tank is simple to get to and refill. Even the cab floor is designed to be easy to clean, meaning that the ZW Series of compact wheel loaders spends more time on the job and less time in the workshop.
